Company Information

The company was formed by the current director Mr William Bowes in 1994 and has grown steadily since.

A1 Engineering Limited is a medium/heavy sized fabrication business specialising mainly in structural steelwork & pipework (including erection and site installation) in both carbon and stainless steels, with other works being undertaken in copper, aluminium and other exotic materials.

Our purpose built premises comprising fabrication workshop, offices, drawing and inspection departments, lecture/training rooms and a conference area provide us with the facilities to carry out our current works program and to extend our range of services.

For the previous four years we have been at the forefront of LPG Technology in which we are involved in the design, installation and commissioning for a wide range of clientele nation-wide both private and commercial.

Our activities cover marine, rail, petrochemical, nuclear, steel, gas and mining industries gaining approvals from our clientele.

In May 2001 the company attained its ISO 9001:2000 certification and owes part of its success both to the attainment of this quality standard and past client satisfaction. Our reputation for quality, delivery and competitive pricing enable us to build on our customer-supplier relationship that is second to none.

The company is proud of its past achievements and will continue to build on its reputation both locally and nationally.
